WANTED:

Hungry Visitors for Sunday Brunch

Tim Mehren (Triad's former Investor Relations Director) wrote to say that he and his wife Jeannie have opened a restaurant in the Gold Country.

It's called Bogart's at Forest Meadows  (which is at Trend Jones designed golf course).  They are in the town of Murphys, which is on Highway 4 about 4 miles Northeast of Angels Camp (see map below).

They have a Sunday brunch which  features Eggs Benedict, served a variety of ways, along with Sourdough French Toast that's a gastronomical, visual and aromatic knockout.  Their Prime Rib  for dinner is another big time treat. The staff is friendly and goes out of its way to make sure patrons have a memorable experience.

Call ahead  or just drop in.

Bogart's is hosting its first-ever Totally Excellent Golf Tournament, BBQ and Music Festival on Saturday, October 22, and there's still room on the tee if you're so inclined. Rumor has it that at least three former Triadites -- Bob Marks, Dave Wilson and Mike Fonseca -- will be there, but don't let that scare you off.

Call Tim at 209 728-1974 or email him at TimMehren@aol.com for more information or an entry form.
